Usually when you’re in prison, it’s because you’ve committed a crime and have been deemed a menace to society, right? That’s far from the case with Eastern State Penitentiary’s Terror Behind the Walls where you pay for nightmares.
Here’s how it works — and it’s pretty simple: You pay the entrance fee, strut through the prison cell blocks and leave in a state of horror. Don’t believe us? See for yourself and check out the promo video here.
Each year Terror Behind the Walls raises hairs and scares the pants off of those brave enough to attend. It’s no wonder why it’s been featured on shows such as Ghost Hunters and Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures. Luckily, if you can’t handle the horror, a friendly staff member can escort you out before turning another nightmarish corner.
